Kingsland Manor Trust Long-term President Dorothy Greengrove, 87, Passes

It is with deep sorrow and pain that we inform you of the death of our president and founding member, Dorothy Greengrove. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Dorothy was dedicated to preserving local history

Dorothy L. Greengrove, 87, a lifelong resident of Nutley, passed away on Wednesday September 25, 2019. Born in Passaic, she was the daughter of the late August and Paula L. (Arnold) Pfefferle. Mrs. Greengrove was a realtor with Moscara Realty in Nutley before retiring. She was also a recipient of the Mattia Award, a member of the Nutley Historic Preservation Committee and the Nutley Town Club, and active with the Girl Scouts of America.

Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, James B. Greengrove, her children, Keith Greengrove and wife, Lisa, Kate Greengrove and husband, Art Pfefferle, Kris Greengrove and husband, Jim Martino, Karl Greengrove and husband, Ulises Robles, and her loving grandchildren, Eva, Carson, Anton, Owen and Ella. She was also the dear sister of the late Fred Pfefferle.

The Funeral Services will be conducted on September 30, 2019, at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
