Bench dedication in memory of Dorothy Greengrove

On September 25th, we celebrated the life of Dorothy Greengrove, the primary mover and shaker behind the Kingsland Manor’s restoration, by dedicating a memorial bench that overlooks the new garden. Dot passed away two years ago, and the Historic Restoration Trust of Nutley brought family and friends together to mark her passing and to honor her. After several attendees spoke, a wine toast was given by Dot’s son Karl Greengrove. Guests enjoyed a pictorial video of events in her Kingsland-Manor-related life as well as tours of the Manor. Appetizers and wine were served on the patio, where family and friends reminisced about a life well lived. Pictures of the event were taken by Linda Buset. Thank you, Dot, for your years of dedication and for leaving a legacy that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
